National Safety Council (NSC) is a premier apex body at the national level devoted to strengthening of voluntary movement on Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) in the Country. It was established by the Ministry of Labour, Govt. of India on 4 th March 1966. It’s tripartite Board of Governors headed by the Chairman, an eminent industrialist nominated by the Govt. of India. NSC has an all-India network of over 10000 members and 12 Chapters. With a track record of distinguished professional achievements and serving Indian industry for more than 57 years, NSCI enjoys a reputation of being one of the best leading Safety Councils in the world.
